Welcome to The Compliance Journal, the official blog of ComplySignage. While our shop is still coming together, I wanted to give you a glimpse into what we have been working on and where we are headed.
Compliance in signage is not just about checking boxes. It is about making sure every building, workplace, and public space communicates clearly, safely, and inclusively. Whether it is ADA compliant Braille room signs, OSHA safety placards, or NFPA fire safety signs, the goal is always the same: protect people and make spaces easier to navigate.
Over the past several months, I have been:
Researching advanced sign making technology, including UV printers that produce beadless Braille and laser systems for precision cutting
Mapping out the compliance standards that matter most in California and nationwide, including ADA 2010 Standards, Title 24, OSHA 1910.145, and NFPA 101
Designing product lines such as ComplyAccess (ADA signage), ComplyWork (OSHA and ANSI signage), ComplySafe (NFPA fire safety signs)
Exploring SmartReady features like QR codes and NFC to make signage more interactive
In the months ahead, this blog will be a place to:
Break down changes in ADA, OSHA, and NFPA standards in plain language
Share updates on how we are building our sign shop
Highlight real world use cases and compliance challenges we can help solve
Even though ComplySignage is still in startup mode, the mission is clear: create high quality, compliance focused signage and tags that give our customers peace of mind.
Thank you for following along at this early stage. The journey is just getting started.
